Company Profile and Business Activities
ARENA BRNO, a.s. was established in 2020. Its founder and sole shareholder is the Statutory City of Brno (hereinafter also referred to as the "City of Brno"). ARENA BRNO, a.s. is a member of the City of Brno Group, whose controlling entity is the Statutory City of Brno, Company ID No. 449 92 785, with its registered office at Dominikánské náměstí 196/1, Brno, 602 00, Czech Republic.
The Company's Business Activities Include:
a) Manufacturing, trade and services not listed in Annexes 1–3 to the Trade Licensing Act, including the following activities:
I. Purchase, sale, management and maintenance of real estate,
II. Trade and service intermediation,
III. Wholesale and retail trade,
IV. Administrative management services and organisational and economic support services,
V. Operation of cultural, educational and entertainment facilities; organisation of cultural performances, entertainment events, exhibitions, trade fairs, showcases, sales events and similar activities,
VI. Operation of sports facilities and organisation of sporting activities.
The Company's Principal Activities primarily include activities in the fields of sport, culture, civil society, the environment, health and healthy lifestyles, and charitable activities, as well as:
a) Management of its own assets,
b) Supporting the overall development of the territory of the Statutory City of Brno,
c) Addressing the needs of the residents of the Statutory City of Brno,
d) Fulfilling public interests within the territory of the Statutory City of Brno and the interests of the City of Brno Group in accordance with Group directives.
Organisational Structure
Corporate Bodies
General Meeting: The City Council of Brno, acting as the executive body of the Statutory City of Brno, which is the sole shareholder of the Company, exercises the powers of the General Meeting.
Board of Directors: The Company's statutory body is the Board of Directors, which represents the Company and is responsible for its business management.
