VISITOR REGULATIONS – T ARENA

Introduction

These Visitor Regulations govern the conditions of entry, stay, and conduct of visitors and persons directly performing stewarding duties at T ARENA. Among other things, they serve as the visitor regulations within the meaning of Act No. 115/2001 Coll., on the Promotion of Sport.

These Visitor Regulations do not affect the rights and obligations of visitors, the Operator, and the stewarding and security services arising from generally binding legal regulations that cannot be modified by agreement. This applies in particular to identity verification, personal searches, inspections, and the examination of bags for the purpose of enforcing the prohibition of dangerous items and minimising risks. Such inspections are carried out on a voluntary basis on the part of the visitor. Should a visitor refuse to undergo such inspection, they may be denied entry to T ARENA or removed from T ARENA. If necessary, the Police of the Czech Republic or another person authorised under the laws of the Czech Republic may be called upon to carry out the required measures.

These Visitor Regulations have been approved by the Operator of T ARENA. The Operator reserves the right to amend or supplement these Visitor Regulations at its sole discretion.

Article 1

Definitions

For the purposes of these Visitor Regulations, the following definitions shall apply:

Operator – the entity responsible for the operation of T ARENA.

Organizer – the entity organising a specific event.

Authorised Person – the security service, stewarding service, technical staff, medical service, or any other person authorised by the Operator or the Organizer.

T ARENA – the multifunctional T ARENA venue in Brno, including all related premises, namely all indoor areas, adjacent outdoor areas, entrance corridors, hospitality zones, and associated operational areas.

Article 2

Entry to T ARENA

2.1 By entering T ARENA, the visitor confirms that they:

  • have read these Visitor Regulations and will comply with them;
  • will follow the instructions of the Operator, the Organizer, and the Authorised Persons;
  • will comply with all generally binding legal regulations.

2.2 Entry to T ARENA is permitted only to persons holding a valid admission ticket or other valid authorisation for entry.

2.3 Re-entry is not permitted unless otherwise specified by the Organizer. This also applies to holders of season tickets or reserved-seat tickets in relation to admission to a particular event.

2.4 Visitors may access only those areas corresponding to the rights granted by their admission ticket or other authorisation.

2.5 Visitors are required to occupy only the seat (or section) indicated on their admission ticket. The principle of one person = one admission ticket applies throughout T ARENA.

2.6 The Operator reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove from T ARENA any person who violates these Visitor Regulations.

Article 3

Security Screening

3.1 Every person entering T ARENA agrees to undergo a security screening of their person and belongings.

3.2 Security screening may be carried out using:

  • walk-through metal detectors,
  • handheld metal detectors,
  • X-ray screening equipment,
  • other security technologies.

3.3 Refusal to undergo a security screening constitutes grounds for denial of entry.

3.4 In justified cases, a security screening may also be carried out after entry during the event.

Article 4

Entry of Persons Under 15 Years of Age

4.1 Persons under 15 years of age may enter T ARENA only when accompanied by an adult, unless otherwise specified by the Organizer. The accompanying adult is responsible for such persons.

4.2 Every person entering T ARENA must hold a valid admission ticket or other valid authorisation for entry, regardless of age.

4.3 Subject to the conditions of a particular event, children under 3 years of age may be issued a ticket with a nominal value of CZK 0, generally without entitlement to a separate seat.

4.4 As a general rule, a maximum of one child without a separate seat is permitted per accompanying adult.

4.5 Children without a separate seat must not sit in aisles, on stairways, or in emergency escape routes.

 

Article 5

Refusal of Entry and Removal

A person may be denied entry to T ARENA or removed from T ARENA without any entitlement to a refund of the admission fee if they:

  • are visibly under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other narcotic or psychotropic substances;
  • behave aggressively, endanger their own safety or the safety of others, or disrupt the course of the event;
  • refuse to undergo a security screening or to verify their identity;
  • fail to comply with the instructions of an Authorised Person;
  • unlawfully use an admission ticket issued for a specific individual;
  • otherwise violate these Visitor Regulations;
  • have been banned from attending the event by a public authority or by the Organizer.

Article 6

Admission Tickets and Their Use

6.1 Every admission ticket is subject to validation by the access control system.

6.2 An admission ticket must be presented for inspection upon request.

6.3 The Operator may introduce:

  • personalised admission tickets;
  • identity verification;
  • special conditions for certain categories of admission tickets.

Article 7

Use of Admission Tickets

7.1 An admission ticket is a valuable document.

7.2 The following are prohibited:

  • counterfeiting admission tickets;
  • unauthorised resale of admission tickets;
  • use of an invalid or altered admission ticket;
  • unauthorised use by another person of a discounted admission ticket issued to a specific individual.

7.3 The Operator reserves the right to invalidate any admission ticket obtained in breach of the applicable ticket sales conditions.

 

Article 8

Changes to or Cancellation of an Event

The Operator shall not be liable for any changes to the programme or cancellation of an event caused by:

  • the Event Organizer;
  • force majeure;
  • decisions or measures taken by public authorities.

Article 9

Complaints

Any complaints must be submitted without undue delay in accordance with the conditions set by the Event Organizer.

Article 10

Liability for Damage

10.1 Visitors shall be liable for any damage caused by their actions or omissions.

10.2 The Operator shall not be liable for items left outside the designated storage areas. Items deposited in the cloakroom or luggage storage facility shall be subject to the operating rules of the respective storage facility.

10.3 Any claim for compensation by a Visitor must be submitted to the Operator without undue delay.

10.4 Visitors acknowledge that during events they may be exposed to high noise levels, strobe lighting and other lighting effects.

Article 11

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited from being brought into T ARENA:

  • weapons of any kind (firearms, stabbing weapons, cutting weapons, blunt weapons, etc.), even if the person holds a valid firearms licence; T ARENA is a weapon-free zone in this respect.
  • pyrotechnics
  • explosives
  • sprays and other pressurised containers
  • corrosive substances, dyes or other substances affecting health
  • other items posing a fire or explosion hazard
  • alcohol, drugs and other narcotic or psychotropic substances
  • glass containers
  • cans
  • luggage exceeding the permitted dimensions of 21 × 30 × 10 cm
  • professional recording equipment without authorisation
  • lasers, including laser pointers
  • poles, including selfie sticks
  • vuvuzelas, megaphones and other noise-making devices
  • non-folding umbrellas
  • banners and flags without authorisation, rigid objects (e.g. flag poles, ladders, bicycles, etc.)
  • remote-controlled models and drones, power banks or other devices interfering with the radio spectrum and the technical infrastructure of T ARENA
  • any items that may endanger safety.

Visitors carrying prohibited items will be required to leave them outside the venue or leave the venue. The final decision shall be made by the Operator.

Article 12

Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are prohibited within T ARENA:

  • entering unauthorised areas
  • threatening, harassing or restricting other Visitors, staff members or performers beyond what is appropriate for the particular event
  • tampering with any technical equipment of T ARENA (data sockets, payment terminals, information displays, sensors)
  • political campaigning, distribution of leaflets and petitioning without prior authorisation
  • connecting personal devices to the T ARENA electrical network
  • standing on seats
  • damaging the property of the owner, the Operator, T ARENA or third parties
  • blocking entrances, exits and emergency escape routes
  • throwing objects onto the ice surface, the spectator area, the stage or access routes
  • disrupting the event
  • displaying violent, racist or hateful behaviour
  • using open flames
  • smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, heated tobacco devices and water pipes (hookahs)
  • making unauthorised audio or visual recordings
  • unauthorised live streaming of the event
  • covering advertising surfaces with banners, flags or by any other means

Article 13

Catering

13.1 Consumption of food and beverages purchased within T ARENA is permitted.

13.2 Visitors may be permitted to bring their own food and beverages subject to the conditions of the particular event.

Article 14

Animals

Entry with animals is not permitted, with the exception of assistance and guide dogs.

Article 15

CCTV System and Personal Data Protection

15.1 T ARENA is monitored by a CCTV system with recording.

15.2 Recordings are made only to the extent necessary for the purpose of:

  • protecting persons and property
  • preventing unlawful conduct
  • ensuring operational security.

15.3 Visitors acknowledge and agree that photographs and audio-visual recordings capturing their likeness may be taken in connection with an event. Such recordings may be used by the Operator, the Event Organizer or third parties (e.g. the media) for reporting purposes without any entitlement to remuneration. They may also be used for promotional and marketing purposes where this is not contrary to the applicable personal data protection legislation.

15.4 Personal data are processed in accordance with the applicable legislation. Detailed information on personal data protection and the rights of data subjects is available on the Operator's website and at the T ARENA reception.

Article 16

VIP, Club Level and Skyboxes

16.1 VIP and hospitality areas (Club Level, Skyboxes, Party Boxes, VIP Seats) are subject to special operating rules, security screening and capacity limits.

16.2 Holders of hospitality access rights are subject to these Visitor Regulations in full.

16.3 Entry to these areas may be subject to additional operating rules.

Article 17

Accreditation

Non-ticketed persons and accredited persons are subject to the entry regime in accordance with the T ARENA accreditation rules.

Article 18

Blacklist / Entry Ban

The Operator reserves the right to prohibit entry to persons who have seriously or repeatedly committed minor breaches of these Visitor Regulations.

Article 19

Cooperation with the Integrated Rescue System

Visitors are required to follow the instructions of:

  • the Police of the Czech Republic
  • the Fire Rescue Service
  • the Emergency Medical Service
  • other units of the Integrated Rescue System

Article 20

Emergency and Extraordinary Situations

In the event of an emergency, Visitors are required to:

  • follow the instructions of staff
  • remain calm
  • keep emergency escape routes clear
  • not use lifts
  • not return to the building after evacuation

Article 21

Evacuation and Security Procedures

21.1 T ARENA may activate security procedures in emergency situations.

21.2 Visitors are required to comply with all security instructions.

21.3 For safety reasons and to prevent danger, Visitors may be instructed by an Authorised Person or by members of the Integrated Rescue System to move to seats other than those stated on their Event Ticket, including seats in a different section or another area of T ARENA.

Article 22

Marketing and Commercial Activities

The following activities are prohibited without the consent of the Operator or the Event Organizer:

  • commercial activities
  • distribution of advertising materials
  • marketing activities
  • unauthorised promotional activities

Article 23

Lost and Found

23.1 Found items must be handed over to an Authorised Person.

23.2 Lost and found matters are handled by the Operator in accordance with its internal rules.

Article 24

Event-Specific Provisions

The Event Organizer may establish additional conditions depending on the nature of the event.
